The petitioners were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.12.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 120(B), 302, 294(B), 342 of IPC in S.C.No.71 of 2024, on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners (A4 and A5) submitted that NBWs were issued against them on 18.09.2024 and 07.01.2025, respectively. The charges have been framed and the trial schedule drawn, summons have been issued for examination of the witnesses, and the trial is set to commence on 14.08.2025 and conclude by 22.08.2025.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that A1 and A3 are still in prison, and granting bail might lead to absconding, disrupting the trial. He further submitted that this case involves a retaliation murder and the petitioners were previously involved in a similar case. Hence, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to appear daily before the Trial Court, attend hearing dates, and not seek adjournments for cross-examination of the witnesses.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, since the trial schedule has been drawn and examination of the witnesses is expected to conclude by 22.08.2025, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.
