ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation to an investigation officer, not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, to conduct investigation in Crime No.24 of 2025 pending on the file of the third respondent for offences under Section 318(2) and 316(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Suraksha (BNS), 2023 and to monitor the same.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appoearing for the respondents submitted that the investigation is in progress and the grounds taken by the petitioner in this petition, are not the grounds for transfer of investigation. Therefore, this petition is dismissed. However, the respondent-Police is directed to expedite the investigation and complete the same and file charge-sheet within a period of three months before the Court. 2 / 4
