The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondent to consider his representation dated 02.08.2023 within a time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the property situated in Door No.58-A, Block No.8, Muthukavundanpudur, 1st street, Tiruppur with an extent of 6.32cents from a private individual and presented the same for registration before the respondent and the same has not been registered and released by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking release of the same.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent, on written instructions, submitted that the document presented for registration is kept pending by assigning pending number P14/2022 in view of the objection raised by the HR&CE Department claiming right over the subject matter of the same.

4. In view of the same, the respondent is directed to conduct a summary enquiry as held by the Division Bench of this Court in Sudha Ravi Kumar and other Vs The Special Commissioner and Commissioner, HR & CE Department and others reported in AIR 2017 Mad 203 and pass final orders on merits within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
