The petitioners, who apprehend arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 448, 307, 506(ii) and 149 IPC connected with Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act and Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989 in Crime No.44 of 2014 on the file of the respondent Police, have filed this petition seeking a direction to the learned District Judge, Chengleput, Kancheepuram District, to consider to consider the petitioners' bail application on the same day on merits. 2.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned District Judge, Chengleput, Kancheepuram District is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and to pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioners surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail. 5.This petition is ordered accordingly.
