ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd Respondent to consider the representation given by this petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is engaged in farming in his land along with his family members. While being so, the Tamilnadu Electricity Board without giving prior intimation to the petitioner, had erected High Electric Voltage towers in his land due to which, the petitioner could not carry out any sort of agricultural activities. Since, the petitioner and his family members totally rely upon the said land and its outcome for their livelihood, the petitioner made a
representation on 06.08.2019 to the 3rd Respondent with regard to removal of the High Electric Voltage towers from his land, however, till date no action has been taken by the 3rd Respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking the above relief.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders within a particular time fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Counsel for the Respondents submits that he has no objection the said order being passed and the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within a particular time fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, issues direction to the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
