ORDER

[Order of the court was made by Justice M.M.SUNDRESH] The petitioner is the husband of the detenue. Inter alia alleging that his wife, the detenue, is under the illegal custody of her parents, who are respondents 3 and 4 herein, the petitioner has come forward with this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner, his parents, the detenue and her parents are present. We had a prolonged discussion with all of them. The petitioner has since married the detenue, as could be seen from the copy of the marriage certificate dated 11.06.2019 produced before us. The detenue has also expressed her desire to be with the petitioner. However, both the petitioner and the detenue expressed their apprehension on the threat to be exerted from the side of the the respondents 3 and 4. The respondents 3 and 4 have assured that they will not have any truck with the petitioner and the detenue. The statements made by them stand recorded. However, by way of abundant precaution, we direct the Inspector of Police, Thudialur Police Station in Coimbatore District, to give police protection to the petitioner and the detenue.

Similarly, sufficient protection will have to be given to the parents of the petitioner by the 2nd respondent as and when required. The respondents 3 and 4 are directed to handover the certificates of the detenue. The detenue is at liberty to attend the ensuing examinations scheduled to be held between 03.09.2019 and 09.09.2019.

In the result, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of accordingly with the above directions.
