ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the Civil Revision Petition is filed against the proceedings initiated under the Domestic Violence Act in DVC.No.9 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur, and subsequently, the matter was transferred to the Additional Mahila Court, Thiruvallur and got re-numbered as DVC.No.44 of 2021.

2. It is further stated that DVC.No.44 of 2021 was dismissed for default on 12.05.2023 by the Court and as consequence the Civil Revision Petition has become infructuous. The learned counsel filed a memo to that effect. Recording the said memo filed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is made clear, in case the proceedings in DVC.No.44 of 2021 is restored to the file, it is always open to the petitioners to appear before the concerned Court and raise all the objections with regard to the maintainability and other 2/4

preliminary issues before the very same Court.

3. With these clarification, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
