O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to give police protection (Bandhobasth) and permission to conduct ADAL PADAL programme in Kaniyampadipudur Arulmugu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival, Vellore Taluk, Vellore District on 18.09.2016 by considering his representation dated 10.09.2016.

2. It is seen that this petitioner has sent a representation dated 10.09.2016 by post to the Inspector of Police, Kaniyampadipudur Police Station for the purpose of conducting cultural programme (ADAL PADAL) in connection with Arulmugu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival on 18.09.2016.

3. In a case of this nature, this Court cannot give a direction as prayed for by the petitioner. However, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the respondent police and on such representation being given, the respondent police is directed to enquire into the same and depending upon the law and order situation, take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
