The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to give bandhobasth and permission to conduct the cultural program in Periyeri Arulmigu Sri Angala Parameswari Koil Thiruvizha, Attur Taluk, Salem District on 15.09.2016 by considering his representation dated 29.08.2016

2. It is seen that this petitioner has sent a representation dated 29.08.2016 by post to Inspector of Police, Thalaivasal Police Station for the purpose of conducting cultural programme in Periyeri Arulmigu Sri Angala Parameswari Koil Thiruvizha, Attur Taluk, Salem District on 15.09.2016.

3. In a case of this nature, this Court cannot give a direction as prayed for by the petitioner. However, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a representation to the respondent police and on such representation being given, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent police is directed to enquire into the same and depending upon the law and order situation, take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
