The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to regularize the period from 16.08.2016 to 19.06.2018 as duty period for all purpose including monetary benefits and consequentially direct to sanction annual increment from 2016 to till now to the petitioner in the light of decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Electronics Corporation of Indian Limited andothers Vs. Sateesh Rao Sonalwalkar reported in 2004 11 SCC 550, by considering the proposal submitted by the third respondent to the second respondent and within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has sent a representation dated 22.06.2020 seeking to regularize the period from 16.08.2016 to 19.06.2018 as duty period for all purpose including monetary benefits, and such representation is pending before the third respondent. He would further submit that on 27.05.2025, the third respondent forwarded the proposal to the second respondent and such proposal is pending with the second respondent.
4. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents would submit that the second respondent will pass order based on the proposal sent by the third respondent.
5. In view of the above submission, without going to merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to pass orders based on the proposal sent by the third respondent 27.05.2025, 3/5
on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
