Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, directing the 2nd respondent to produce the body of the petitioner's wife namely "Deivanayagi"aged about 23 years and minor child the 7 months old "Narmadha"before this Court and set them at liberty. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the body of the detenue namely Mrs.Deivanayagi, aged about 23 years and minor child, the 7 months old "Narmadha" and set them at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner/husband of the detenue "Deivanayagi". 2.
The detenue/Deivanayagi is present before this Court and stated that she is not in illegal custody. 3.
It appears that it is a matrimonial dispute. Thus, we https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
do not find any illegal detention involved in this case. However, we direct the respondents to proceed with the investigation.
4. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
