The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to survey his property and issue patta in his favour after appropriate sub division to his property in Survey Nos.95/2, 95/3, 95/4, 95/5, 95/6, 95/7. 106/2, 107/2B, 107/3A, 107/4A to an total extent of about 14 acres 16 cents in Veeraganur Village, Gengavalli Taluk, Salem District by considering his on-line application dated 31.07.2024.
2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the above mentioned property under registered sale deed dated 18.08.2020. He submitted an on-line application dated 31.07.2024 seeking mutation of Revenue records and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this 2/4
Court.
4. Mr.D.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the on-line application of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.
5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the on-line application of the petitioner dated 31.07.2024 and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
