ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to to direct the third respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and her husband were arrested by the third respondent police for Prohibition Act Cases and they were released on bail. The third respondent police unnecessarily harrased the petitioner and her husband under the guise of enquiry. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has sent a representation on 22.11.2021 to the Superintendent of Police, Villupuram and also gave an undertaking that she and her husband will not involve in any prohibition offence henceforth. He further would submit that the petitioner has an apprehension that false case would be foisted against her and her husband in future.

3. In view of the above submission, the petitioner and her husband are directed to appear before the first respondent/Superintendent of Police, Villupuram on 23.12.2021. Thereafter, the Superintendent of Police, Villupuram is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2021 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
