Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct inspection and consider as per the application submitted by the petitioner on 26.11.2018 for the academic year 2019-20 and consequently direct the respondent to expedite the recognition process with in the reasonable period of time and in accordance with law. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application

submitted by the petitioner on 26.11.2018 and to pass appropriate orders.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that there is already moratorium which is inforce, wherein, a decision with regard to granting approval for the new college is still under consideration. 4.Even though a larger relief has been sought for in this writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will restrict his relief for a direction to the respondents for considering the application given by the petitioner on 26.11.2018.

5.Taking into consideration the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the application given by the petitioner on 26.11.2018 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
