The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer for mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the pensionary benefits of the petitioner as requested in his representation dated 11.06.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though there were certain disciplinary proceedings initiated, the petitioner was subsequently permitted to retire from service with effect from 30.04.2018, vide orders dated 10.12.2024 and 06.01.2025. However, there has been a delay in the settlement of his terminal benefits. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation on 11.06.2025 and such representation is pending for consideration by the respondent.

At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st and 2nd respondents and the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent fairly submits that they would consider the petitioner's above representation dated 11.06.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the 2/4

materials available on record.

5. In such view of the fair submissions, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2025 and pass orders, according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
