When the matter is taken up today for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the Commissioner of Police, Avadi City, No.137/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 21.08.2024, the petitioner has been detained as a "Goonda" contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982, and he was detained and kept in judicial custody at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. The learned Government Advocate has also produced a xerox copy of the detention order before this Court.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate as well as the detention order dated 21.08.2024, this Criminal Original Petition shall stands dismissed.
