ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to take necessary action to provide permanent job to the petitioner's son named Thiru.S.Rajesh as per the letter No.4893512/AD2/2023-1 dated 12.06.2023 of the first respondent.

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that her son namely S.Rajesh was infected with HIV due to medical negligence, hence, she filed a suit in O.S.No.5519 of 2016 before the learned XVIII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai. The suit has been decreed granting compensation of Rs.25 lakhs and also suggested the petitioner's son for an employment. Pursuant to the same, temporary employment has granted. Further, the petitioner has made a representation seeking permanent post for her, on 12.06.2023 and the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that now, a clarification dated 07.09.2023 has been sought from the first respondent/Principal Secretary to take further action in this regard. Therefore, seeks this Court for fixing an outer time limit of three months for consideration of the petitioner representation.

4. Such view of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and also the letter of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.27912/M&M 1(1)/2010 dated 07.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
