consequently direct the first respondent to grant permission to conduct Aalava @ Pookuzhi festival.

ORDER

This revision has been preferred as against the order dated 03.07.2025 made in Na.Ka.4139/2024(M1) by the first respondent herein.

The petitioner is arrayed as 'A' party and the third respondent is arrayed as 'B' party in a Peace Committee Meeting conducted by the first respondent and some resolution has been passed in the Peace Committee Meeting. Though the petitioner's 'A' party participated in the Peace Committee Meeting, they did not agree for the resolution and did not sign in the resolution. Whereas, the 'B' party i.e. the third respondent and others have signed in the resolution.

3. The present Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the resolution passed by the Peace Committee Meeting. Since the petitioner's 'A' party did not sign in the resolution, the said resolution will not bind the 'A' party. Even assuming that 'A' & 'B' parties signed in the resolution, the said resolution has no legal sanctity since it is only a resolution resolved between two parties. It has only evidential value and it can be used before the Civil Court.

4. In view of the above observation, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed.
