ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioners and their family members.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that their son Sakthivel eloped with one Saraswathi. Hence, a complaint came to be lodged by the mother of the said Saraswathi, pursuant to which, the petitioners have been harassed by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass them and their relatives.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that no such harassment was made by the respondent police and only based on the complaint given by the mother of the said Saraswathi, the respondent police is conducting investigation and the petitioners are required to cooperate with the police authorities with regard to the investigation to be conducted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Since there is no harassment by the respondent police, the present criminal original petition is closed.
