ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 06.03.2023.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has preferred an appeal dated 06.03.2023, before the first respondent for transfer of Patta No.127 from the name of fifth respondent to the name of the petitioner for the lands comprised in S.No.26/1E and S.No.26/1F to an extent of 1097 cents and 75 cents, respectively situated in Beemakulam Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupathur District. However, the said appeal was not at all considered by the first respondent, as on date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner's appeal dated 06.03.2023 will be disposed of by the first respondent within a period of 8 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 06.03.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
