PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 09.08.2024 and not to permit the respondents 5 to 11 to conduct Kumbabisegam in the Muneeshwaran temple situated at Reddiyur village, Kolnayakanpatti, Mettur Taluk, Salem District.

This Writ Petition is filed seeking mandamus in the nature of direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2024 and not to permit the respondents 5 to 11 to conduct Kumbabisegam in the Muneeshwaran Temple situated at Reddiyur village, Kolnayakanpati, Mettur Taluk, Salem District.

2. The learned Government Advocate submits that the above mentioned Temple is a private temple and the respondents herein have conducted the Kumbabisegam on the scheduled date and therefore, nothing survives in this Writ petition.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
