ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Tax revision petition No.8/2015-16 dated 20.11.2015 and to quash the same.

The only contention now raised before this Court in this Writ Petition is that the petitioner may be permitted to prosecute the appeal without paying the property tax arrears. 3.

By Order dated 20.11.2015, the respondent fixed half yearly tax as Rs.30,727/- and also observed that the petitioner can file an appeal within fifteen days from the date of receipt of the said order, on paying the entire property tax. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Since there is no provision in the Act exempting the petitioner from paying the property tax for filing an appeal, the writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected MPs are closed.
