The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been given Notional regularization on par with his junior from the date of initial appointment with effect from 24.01.1995. It is the contention of the petitioner that though he was regularized with effect from 1995, no promotion was effected based on such regularization. Hence, seeking notional promotion on par with juniors, the petitioner has given representation on 10.03.2025 and the same is pending before the respondent without response.
2. At this juncture, the Additional Government Pleader would submit that they would consider the said representation on its own merit.
3. In such view of the submissions of the Additional Government Pleader, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on its own merit and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. In the result, the Writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
