ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.85 of 2012 pending on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.85 of 2012, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvotriyur and the same was taken on file as CC No.85 of 2014. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioner was also convicted for the offences charged against him, by order dated 19.12.2016.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
