This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.208 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagapattinam for the offences under Section 153 A(1)(a), 295A, 189, 506(2) and 505(2) IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

3. This Court perusing the charge sheet, statements of the witnesses recorded under Section 161(3) Cr.P.C., and other materials, finds that there are prima facie allegations made against the petitioner, it is a matter for trial and the points raised by the petitioner herein has to be agitated before the trial Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original 2/4

Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
