ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to initiate due process of law in the matter of acquisition of petitioner land with reference to the mandatory provisions of Right to Fair compensation and Transparency in land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and determine the fair compensation payable with reference to the market value prevailing as on the date of payment of compensation amount and to pay the same along with interest, solatium and other payments permitted by the said Act 2013 the land of an extent of 1349 sq.ft part of Plot no.35 measuring 2606 sq.ft. comprised in Survey No.73B/6, Vaigai Nagar, Urapakkam, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without any notice to the petitioner, the subject properties were acquired by the respondents and no compensation has been paid.

3. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that as early as on 12.02.2026, a sale deed was executed by the petitioner in favour of the Railways based on the private negotiation.

4. In such being the case, the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent. No costs. 24-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KKN To
