Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2021, to remove the encroachment from the land in Survey Nos.41 and nearby the street at Pozhichalur Village.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.Sheik Thanveer Ahamed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned Government Advocate, on instruction, submits that the subject writ land has been surveyed and 40 encroachers are

found and steps would be undertaken to remove the encroachments in accordance with law expeditiously.

3. According to learned Government Advocate, the process shall commence within four weeks.

4. In view of the statement made by learned Government Advocate, no orders are required to be passed in the writ petition.

5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
