PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass an order of direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give Police protection to the petitioner and her family members to access her property through pathway in S.No.161/B and 159/1F of Achalvadi Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to pass an order of direction directing the respondent 1 and 2 to give Police protection to the petitioner and their family members to access her property through pathway in S.No.161/B and 159/1F of Achalvadi Village, Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner had lodged a complaint to the Superintendent of Police Dharmapuri, seeking police protection against the intruders who are denying the access of pathway and also attempted to assault him.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that no such complaint had been received by the 2nd respondent police till date.

5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent police and also furnish a copy of the alleged complaint dated 18.10.2021. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent police shall take proper action on the complaint including providing police protection.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
