Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to grant and order of exemption from surrendering before trial court pursuant to the Judgment dated 26.06.2020 made in Crl.A.226 of 2019 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Salem confirming the conviction and sentence imposed in judgment dated 23.10.2019 in S.C.No.287 of 2016 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Omalur, pending disposal of the above Crl.RC.No.959 of 2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. R.PRABAKAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.SUGENDRAN, Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to grant an order of exemption from surrendering the petitioner before the Trial Court in pursuant to the judgment dated 26.06.2020 made in Crl.A.No.226 of 2019 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Salem confirming the conviction and sentence imposed in Judgement dated 23.10.2019 in S.C.No.287 of 2016 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Omalur.

2. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had surrendered before the Trial Court on 17.12.2021 and thereby, he would not press the petition for exemption and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
