The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to re-survey 1/4

and fix the boundaries of the lands in Survey Nos.72/2A3 and 73/2A2 in Patta No.212 of the Umaiyanur Village, Uthangari Taluk, Krishnagiri District and to make consequential entries in the 'A' Register, FMB and other revenue records.

2. According to the petitioner, the above said land belongs to him and there is a discrepancy with regard to the extent of the land in the FMB prepared by the revenue department. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation on 17.10.2023 to the respondent seeking rectification of entries in FMB and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr. A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider 2/4

the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
