Criminal Original Petition under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the 2nd respondent to de-freeze the saving Bank account vide Account No.1199155000032727 of the petitioner maintained with Karur Vysya Bank, Thiruverkadu Branch, which has been frozen on 14.7.2021 in Crime No.441 of 2015 on the file of the 1st respondent police.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to de-freeze the saving Bank account vide Account No. 1199155000032727 of the petitioner maintained with Karur Vysya Bank, Thiruverkadu Branch, which has been frozen on 14.7.2021 in Crime No.441 of 2015 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the account was already de-freezed.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
