This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.07.2023 wherein the petitioner is requesting for constructing a water tank in the village.

2. Heard Ms.T.Sudha Gandhi, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, learned Additional Government Pleader produced the written instructions received from the Tahsildar viz., fourth respondent. On going through the same, it is seen that the representation made by the petitioner is under consideration and that a water tank is going to be constructed in the village as requested by the petitioner.

4. In the light of the above stand taken by the respondents, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to complete the process of constructing the water tank within a period of eight (8) weeks from the 2/4

date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
