This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to expedite disposal of the case in C.C.9343 of 2017 pending on the file of the VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought by the petitioner, this Court directs the VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore to dispose the case in C.C.9343 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
