Community Certificate to the second petitioner herein i.e. S.Gopinath, within the time limit fixed by this court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order dated 10.07.2024 passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.2406/2024/A3 and direct the second respondent to issue Hindu Bandi Schedule Caste Community Certificate to the second petitioner herein i.e. S.Gopinath.

Mr.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submitted that, the first petitioner, who is the father of second respondent has filed a writ petition bearing W.P.No.3000 of 2024 seeking direction to the respondents to issue Hindu Bandi Schedule Caste Community Certificate to his son. The learned Single Judge, vide order dated 12.02.2024, has directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass orders in accordance with law. Pursuant to the above order passed by the learned Single Judge, the present impugned order
has been passed, rejecting the claim of the petitioner. He further submitted that, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the impugned order, they have to file appeal before the District Collector, Erode District and without availing the alternative remedy the petitioners filed the present writ petition, which is not maintainable.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. connected WMP No.30500 of 2024, seeking permission to join together and to file the writ petition is ordered. Registry is directed to return the original impugned order to the petitioners, after getting copy of the same. The petitioners are at liberty to file an appeal before the District Collector, Erode District as against, the impugned order, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
