By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to fix the right guideline value in square feet for the land comprised in Survey No.117/1A2B situated at Panickampatti Village, Palladam Taluk.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner purchased the land measuring an extent of 10 cents comprised in Survey No.11/1A2B situated at Panickampatti Village, Palladam Taluk vide registered sale deed dated 21.05.2025 in Document No.8238/2025 and has also paid the requisite stamp duty for the same. It is stated that petitioner submitted a representation on 12.06.2025 before the respondents for fixation of guideline value in square feet, however, the same is stated to be kept pending. Hence this writ petition.

4. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that they would examine the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2025 seeking fixation of guideline value in respect of 2/4

the subject land and pass appropriate orders after issuing notice and after affording the petitioner and other interested parties a reasonable opportunity of hearing, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on its own merits, after putting the petitioner on notice and after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons/stake holders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
