The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to settle the arrears of pay eligible to the deceased husband of the writ petitioner as done in the case of co-employees of the deceased employee.
2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the husband of the writ petitioner was appointed as sweeper on consolidated pay through District Employment Exchange and the services were not regularized in accordance with the Government Orders. learned counsel submits that the pay to be fixed in accord with G.O.Ms.142 MAWSS (TP-1) Department dated 23.09.2015, but the same has not been done in the case of the deceased husband of the writ petitioner. In this regard, the writ petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 16.06.2016 and the same is yet to be considered. Without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 16.06.2016 taking into account the G.O.Ms.No.142 MAWSS (TP-1) Department dated 23.09.2015 and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
