The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to consider his representation dated 25.06.2024 seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of the respondents 4 to 7 in respect of the property in Old S.No.253, New S.No.429/3 situated at Sullur Circle, Kaduvettipalayam Village, Coimbatore District.
2. According to the petitioner, the above said land is his ancestral property and he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same, for more than 30 years. It is also stated that the revenue records originally stood in the name of the petitioner's forefather namely, S.Nanjappa Chettiyar. It is stated by 2/5
the petitioner that the respondents 4 to 7 illegally obtained patta in their name in respect of the above mentioned property and therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.06.2024 before the respondents seeking cancellation of the patta and the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner, will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the respondents 4 to 7.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
