ORDER

Mr. M. Babu, Inspector of Police, Cheyyur Police Station, was present at the time to hearing.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the respondent has filed an affidavit and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:- "10. I respectfully submit that after completion of investigation, closed the case as "Mistake of Fact" and serve the R.C.S.No.9/2023, dated 14.08.2023 to the defacto complainant through register post and obtained Acknowledgement. Thereafter I had filed a final report before the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Cheyyur, through e-filing vide CNR No.TNCG160021552025, dated 29.10.2025 and the court R.C.S.No.37 of 2025 has been assigned. The above R.C.S. Notice has been sent to Defacto Complainant through register post with aknowledgement due. The above case stands posted on 04.03.2026 for orders."

3. A copy of the above affidavit has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved, it is left open to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the Court concerned, and work out her remedy, in the manner known to law.
