ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.M.P.No.19698 of 2016 in C.C.No.2691 of 2016 dated 22.11.2016.
2. It is the case of the petitioners that seeking anticipatory bail in a case in C.C.No.2691 of 2016 (Cr.No.5 of 2015), they filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.19698 of 2016 before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, and the learned Judge, by order dated 22.11.2016, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners on certain conditions. One of the conditions is that the petitioners shall report before the learned XVI https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, daily at 10.30a.m. for one month. Seeking relaxation of the said condition, the petitioners have come up with the present petition.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that since charge sheet was filed in Crime No.5 of 2015 and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.2961 of 2016, the condition that the petitioners shall appear before the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, daily at 10.30 a.m. for one month, is of no use to the respondent.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has no objection to relax the said condition imposed on the petitioners.
5. Hence, the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.M.P.No.19698 of 2016 in C.C.No.2691 of 2016 (Cr.No.5 of 2015) dated 22.11.2016, viz., the petitioners shall report before the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, daily at 10.30 a.m. for one month, is totally relaxed.
