A.No.4788 of 2022 in O.P.No.656 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J The father of the two minor children has filed this application seeking interim custody on weekends.
2. By a previous order dated 29.11.2022, visitation rights were extended to the father. Learned counsel for the father states that the father of the children desires to spend more time with the children and further desires that his parents be permitted to meet his children and spend time with them.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents states that their daughter committed suicide and that the children are in their custody and attending schools in the vicinity. He further submits that the respondents are not opposed to providing access during the weekend to the father on condition that it does not disrupt the regular routine of the children.
4. By taking into account the above contentions, the following directions are issued:

(i) Once every fortnight, the father is permitted to take the minor children from the house of the respondents at about 05.00 p.m. on Friday evening.
(ii) The children shall be handed over to the respondents on or before 12.00 Noon on Sunday. This arrangement shall operate until the matter is heard next.
