O R D E R

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.757 of 2025, dated 01.07.2025 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri, that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent/police daily once at 10.30 a.m, until further orders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by the trial Court in Crl.M.P.No.757 of 2025, dated 01.07.2025 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Dharmapuri, that the petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent/police daily once at 10.30 a.m, until further orders. He would further submit that the petitioner has already been taken into custody and subjected to custodial interrogation, and the substantial part of the investigation has been completed. Additionally, the petitioner, being a government servant, has been placed under suspension from the date of his arrest, thereby eliminating any possibility of tampering with evidence or influencing witnesses. There is no reasonable apprehension of his absconding, particularly in light of his deteriorating medical condition and the need for specialized treatment. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above said condition. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.

4. Considering the submission on both sides, nature of offence, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.757 of 2025, dated 01.07.2025, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on first Monday of every month at 10.30a.m., until further orders.
