O R D E R

This Court, by order dated 04.09.2025, in Crl.O.P.No.19861 of 2025, passed the following order:

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 506(1) of IPC, in Crime No.506 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. On a complaint given by one Mrs.Thulasi alleging that in the year 2017, the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.8,47,000/- on various days promising to secure a job but had failed to return the money.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this is the 4th complaint by the de facto complainant with various authorities making similar allegations and all those complaints were closed, and this complaint has been registered after direction from the learned Judicial Magistrate.

4. This Court is of the view that this is a case to be probed intensively, and if the contention of the de facto complainant is true, then she is also to be arrayed as an accused for an attempt to secure a job by bribing.

5. Hence, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. The respondent police is directed to take necessary action in the above line and file a report to this Court by 08.10.2025.

2. Today, 08.10.2025, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that he seeks further time to file the report. 2/4

3. In view of the above, the respondent police are directed to conduct further investigation and file an appropriate report before this Court.
