ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 353, 506(i) of IPC and 24(1) of COTPA Act in Crime No.1481 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant has given a complaint before the respondent police on 01.10.2021 on the allegation that the defacto complainant is operating a roving squads for conducting check of movement of goods through transport vehicle to arrest the possible evasion of taxes under GST Act and by deputing officer. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the owner of the vehicle is still absconding and it needs investigation. However, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the allegations and the nature of the offences involved in this matter and the investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
