Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to approve the appointment of petitioners from the date of initial appointment and to extent all benefits both service and monetary thereto. In all WPs.
For Petitioners : Mr.T.Dharani For Respondents : Ms.P.Kavitha Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R Writ petitions are filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to approve the appointment of petitioners from the date of initial appointment and to extent all benefits both service and monetary thereto. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were appointed as Secondary Grade Assistants in the 5th respondent school on 13.12.2018 in strict adherence to the existing vacancy and also with reference to the category of such appointment and pursuant to the same, they had joined duty. The petitioners made representations to the 5th respondent school, who in turn forwarded the proposal to the 3rd respondent on 13.12.2018 for approval of the petitioners' appointment as Secondary Grade Teachers. The said proposal has been forwarded by the 4th respondent to the 3rd respondent for passing appropriate orders. However, till date no order has been passed. Hence, these writ petitions.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners' dated 13.12.2018 for approval of their appointment and pass appropriate orders within the reasonable time.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court hereby directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 13.12.2018 for approval of their appointment and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
