ORDER

This revision petition is filed seeking a direction to the Family Court, Salem, to dispose the HMOP.No.417 of 2021 within a time frame.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision, even without issuing notice to the respondent.

3. The perusal of the docket order filed in the typed set of papers would suggest that the matter was initially referred to the Mediation by the Family Court, Salem and a Mediation report was received by the Family Court, Salem on 02.05.2022 stating that the mediation effort had failed. From 08.06.2022 onwards, the matter has been adjourned for appearance of the respondent and counter, but the respondent has not filed any counter so far.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent participated in the Mediation and after failure of the Mediation, she failed to appear before this Court and file a counter. Considering the 2/4

above, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Family Court, Salem, to dispose of the HMOP.No.417 of 2021 within a period of 8 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
