ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in FIR / Crime No.57 of 2015 pending on his file.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he preferred a private complaint under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Coimbatore and based on the direction of the learned Magistrate, the respondent police registered a case in FIR No.57 of 2015 as against the accused persons under Sections 120(B), 210, 468, 471, 420 and 506(i) I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2015, till date, the respondent police is not investigating the matter and the final report is not yet filed. Hence, the petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the cooperation of the petitioner is required for production of certain documents, for which, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to produce the required documents.

4. The said submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner are hereby recorded. The petitioner is directed to produce the documents as required by the respondent police and on production of those documents, final report shall be filed within a period of three months thereafter. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
