ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to release the vehicle, which is involved in violation of the provisions of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and Tamil Nadu Minor and Mineral Concession Rules, 1959. 2.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondent produced a communication vide Na.Ka.296/2019/Mines, dated 12.06.2019 sent by the Assistant Geologist and Deputy Director (i/c), Department of Geology and Mining, Salem to the SubInspector of Police, Gengavalli, wherein, it is stated that the vehicle in question bearing Registration No.TN 32 AE 1256, which is seized and handed over to the custody of the Police, can be released as per the orders of the jurisdictional Court.

In view of the same, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Court, in respect of release of the vehicle in question.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
