Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the list of register numbers who have provisionally appointed by direct recruitment to the post of Motor Vehicles Inspector Grade I in the Tamil Nadu Transport Sub-ordinate Service 1999-2000 as published by the third respondent in Dinamani Paper dated 07.07.2004 and quash the selection of the candidates, who do not have the Diploma either in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and direct the respondents to re-do the selection from among the qualified hands of Diploma holders and conclude the selection. For Petitioner : Mr.C.Vediappan, for Mr.C.Selvaraju.
