ORDER
This contempt petition is filed alleging violation of the order dated 18.01.2017 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.1259 of 2017 dated 09.01.2025. The respondent/contemnor appeared in person and submitted that the respondents have complied with the order passed by this Court and various amounts have been deposited into the Bank account of the petitioner towards salary arrears amount, Pension, DCRG amount, Commutation amount, Pension arrears amount and Monthly pension of Rs.42,46,665/-, Rs.6,72,227/-, Rs.4,96,449/-, Rs.6,60,878,/- & Rs.22,107/- respectively during the months of November and December 2024. The receipt of the said amounts has been admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the calculation and basis for arriving at the above said amounts, is not furnished
to the petitioner. In response therefor, Mr.R.Neelakanan, learned Additional Advocate General fairly submitted that the Officials from the Office of the 2nd respondent are present before this Court and they undertake to furnish the relevant calculation to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today.
3.In the light of the above, this Court does not see any reason to continue this contempt proceedings any further and accordingly, contempt petition is closed. Respondent No. 2 is directed to ensure that the detailed calculation of the amounts paid to the petitioner be furnished to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. Consequently, connected sub application is also closed.
