ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Writ of Mandamus has been instituted seeking for a direction to the respondents to take action, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner, for removal of encroachments.

2. Pursuant to the interim direction issued by this Court, the authorities conducted inspection and survey.

3. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that encroachments are identified.

4. That being the factum, the official respondents are directed to initiate appropriate actions to remove the encroachments by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant statutes and rules in force. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
